aussieslavefarm.com - general facilities

Potential visitors should understand that due to the remote location, accommodation and general conditions at the farm are extremely basic - and that's exactly how we like it.

We are not interested in creating a prissy inner-city playroom in the country - so if that's what you're looking for, please look elsewhere.

There is no electricity, gas, running water, sewerage facilities or any form of telephone / internet coverage on the property.

The nearest neighbours are 5 kilometres distant, and the nearest reasonable-sized town is more than 30 kilometres away.

Permanent facilities include a large demountable cabin, which is fitted out with single beds, sofa, table and chairs, wood-fired stove and battery-powered lighting. Portable gas stoves, a barbecue, cooking implements, crockery and a small gas-powered refrigerator are also available. Plenty of drinking water is available, as this is shipped in regularly.

Guests are encouraged to bring food, drink and any other supplies they wish - and to share them with others.
